Unfortunately, we will NOT be re-opening the church for in person worship. For the safety of everyone, in person church services have been suspended until we are able to meet or exceed criteria previously set with regard to COVID-19 cases. This decision will be reviewed at least once a month by the Session. Please continue to worship online at http://rockprairiechurch.org

Look under the WORSHIP section and you will also find a weekly bulletin with the scriptures

and prayers printed out.

Our Mission Statement   The members and friends of Rock Prairie Presbyterian Church worship God our creator, believe in salvation through Jesus Christ His Son and live daily with guidance from the Holy Spirit. We share His message of love and salvation with others through worship, prayer, fellowship, and service.

For over eight generations, families have gathered out here on the prairie to worship a loving God. We hope you might come and join us in this weekly time. We move forward from this place in dozens of mission and youth related activities and work. It is good work from God's people that makes this place sing. We are not perfect here nor do we pretend to be, but we are forgiven and yearning to go forward to make a difference for Christ every day.

We are located at:

This Week at Rock Prairie

Dear members and friends,

As of today, the Session has made the difficult decision to cancel all in-person activities at Rock Prairie Presbyterian Church until April 6 and possibly longer.* The church offices also will be closed. Our phones will be answered during regular business hours. As well, phone numbers will be listed for after-hours pastoral needs. Our staff and leaders will continue to do essential church ministry to support our congregation and community.

These precautions are mandated by our Governor and recommended by public health officials in an attempt to minimize the spread of illness. Our foremost concern is your health and that of those most vulnerable.

We are very aware of the need for spiritual connection at this time of uncertainty. We recognize feelings of isolation can be a symptom of mandated closures and "social distancing." The church can still be a source of hope and connection even when it's not wise to gather in large-group settings. Please contact us if in need of prayer or counsel.

Please continue to check your e-mails as well as our Web site at
www.rockprairiechurch.org/ and on Face Book at https://www.facebook.com/RockPrairiePresbyterianChurch/.

Here are a few ways to stay connected, including online worship or viewing services on your television.

* We will follow public health recommendations about when to resume public gatherings
